Saturday, 22nd July 2017
10:00am - 3:00pm

Pier 4/5 Hickson Road, Walsh Bay NSW 2000

What makes our approach to children's theatre different to drama or musicals? What is the purpose of children's theatre - just to entertain? And who is our audience? When do we show, and when do we tell? Michelle Ashley & James Blyth have worked together as interpreter and consultant on a number of children's productions in Melbourne, and will share with you their approaches and strategies when interpreting for children and their families. This workshop will include a mixture of theory and of practical activities. For interpreters and language consultants.
